Thes is a very attractive well made snaffle bit belt
I like to wear it over a dress ,or jacket
Thank you so much for your donation to the Weymouth Centerβs Equestrian Program. Your team was kind, informative, and very responsive to questions.
I bought this to help because I don't want my young horse to suffer my sloppy hands and lack of awareness while I get myself together. It's helped me be more clear from my seat because my hands aren't inadvertently sending incorrect information.
I am a 63 year old riding instructor at the tail end of a long career. After looking at the Position Reminder Pro on the Correct Connect website for a long time, I finally purchased one for my students
Having stared at it on line and imagined how it would actually work, glad to say I was not disappointed and feel the price has been worth every penny. So simple, so powerful especially if you have any familiarity with the biomechanics position training of the likes of Mary Wanless.
This device epitomizes that feel of a riderβs tone simultaneously pushing forward and pushing back. The center plate is exactly right for that hard to access spot in the middle of many riderβs thoracic region helping them to lift ribs and activate the highest levels of their long back muscles, resulting in an upper body well stacked up over the hips and hips moving more naturally with the horse. Itβs a beautiful moment when the riders feel the almost effortless success and harmony.
Having only used this on experienced riders with good position, I cannot attest to how it would be with less solid rider.
Naturally, the heel and leg position are gradually being memorised. And stable feet. So my canter was very stable.
I am always a little skeptical of "training" aids but given my experience with Correct Connect and some of their other products that I have purchased and use, I thought I'd try this breastplate. I received it in record time and have found it very helpful in keeping my hands quiet and where they need to be. Thank you Correct Connect for the thought, quality of materials, and workmanship that you put into each of your products. I may need to change my farm name to Correct Connect π
Itβs not whether I like the girth (I do) but does my horse. He seems very happy with it, and moves out with energy. I love how soft and squishy the pads are, knowing thereβs no hard spots under the hardware and the elastic bands in between the pads give him more comfort and breathing room. So yes, we both love it.
My OTTB is typically girth-y, but he has not objection to this girth! It is easy to clean and looks good at shows!
While she hasnβt become less β girthy β tacking up, her movement has improved and now she has more suspension in her gaits
My have arthritis in my hands. These reins do not hurt my hands. I also like the thumb reins because I know exactly where to put my hands and know that the reins are even. I am on the second thumb grip for warming up and the third for working.
I have used the position reminder with great success. I have also shared with other riders at our stable. One of the trainers also bought to help other riders. We are all quite impressed!
After trying numerous girths on my horse - the Correct Connect girth has finally solved my issues in fitting my horse. No more girth galls or rubs! No more using Vaseline to keep my girth from pinching! Finally!! My horse is happy and that makes me happy. Thank you!
Super handy tool that combines the shedding blade and a good rubber curry
I wanted to love this so much! It's a little too small all around in my helmet, and the shape is strange. It is too thin to replace my existing helmet liner in any of my helmets, but also thick enough that it seems to be making a rub on my forehead. If you can't remove the existing liner, then this one can't really stick to anything, either, and bunches up. Good idea, execution isn't great.
My horse has high wither and while my sidle is set high enough not to rub all of the pads that I used did rub and pulled her hair out. The correct connect with the straps attached to the rings on the saddle on either side of the pommel keeps the pad from rubbing her withers. It also dries quickly and washes great. Thanks for your constant innovation in all things horse and riding.
I love these on hot days and whatβs more is they are super comfortable. I usually only buy breeches that have pockets that my phone fits in and while they do fit in these pockets I donβt like these pockets at all so thatβs the only reason I wonβt give 5 stars.
I have a lot of arthritis in my hands, so grip is an issue. But I also love how indents and rings are space on these reins. I am finally keeping my reins one length riding Pre St George this year
I have had surgery on my right hand and have a lot of arthritis in both, which can make holding onto reins difficult in the rain, in the showring on a spooking horse!
I have tried a lot of brands, and these gloves are the best!
I'm extremely pleased with these reins. They have improved my ability to maintain stable rein contact with my horse.
