Developed by Olympian Jill Henneberg, this tool teaches riders to develop consistent contact between the horse and the rider.
With the Correct Connect™ system, you easily keep your grip during the most wet and sweaty conditions – eventing, foxhunting, trail riding, show jumping, reining, running barrels… If you are on a horse, we have got you connected!
- Correct Connect™ rein system is simple to use. No special bits or devices are needed. Simply remove your current reins from your horse’s bit and replace them with the new Correct Connect reins, slide your hands into the Correct Connect gloves and you’re ready to ride.
- Hook-and-loop fastener on lower fingers and upper palm encourage proper contact, while allowing rider to be soft in their fingertips.
- High quality leather reins and breathable durable gloves can be used together or separately for every single ride.
Well made and nice quality. Very very sticky and I may need to try the glove with less Velcro.
Work really well! I never knew how much I shuffled my reins affecting the contact with my horse . Happier horse and my riding instructor is happier too!
Great product. Especially great for arthritic hands. Because you don’t have to clench the reins, you can keep a nice straight line with a relaxed hand to the bit. The reins are a little thick and combined with the big pad of Velcro on the thumbs you will lose a bit of quick adjustability. I covered a bit of the thumb pad with tape to reduce the stick. The gloves could be more flexible with other choices in weight (summer and winter).
Otherwise love them. I’ve ridden with them every day so far.
Reins provide benefit of consistent contact and relaxation of fingers which is good. Difficult to switch whip and adjust for stretchy circle. Not helpful on trail. “Velcro” on Palm ? Doesn’t make contact with rein. Maybe my mistake in technique?
My trainer encouraged me to purchase the correct connect. We have both noticed an improvement in my hands and connection
