From learning to balance while posting the trot to helping riders establish a correct and direct connection to the horse's mouth. This training aid helps riders and horses fix MANY issues with just one piece of equipment! 

The T-Grips attached to breastplate limit the amount the rider can pull back while connecting the hands in a straight line from the bit to the elbow. This encourages a softer elbow and a more relaxed connection. Horses tend to be more uphill in a more correct carriage when ridden in this aid.

This 3-in-1 Training Breastplate does not rely on leverage and is not a shortcut. It does not force a horse's head into a locked position but instead helps the RIDER find the correct forward feeling of riding a horse into the contact. 

This aid helps fix common faults of:

  • Widening and lowering the hands to pull the horse's head down.
  • Hanging onto the horse's mouth for balance
  • Catching the horse's mouth on the backside of a jump.  
  • Pulling on the inside rein to turn. 
  • Locked elbows.

Correct Connect’s™ 3-in-1 breastplate combines stunning craftsmanship with the practical functionality of using it as a plain breastplate, with a neck strap, or with it's unique training attachment.  Adjustable leather and elastic breastplate attaches to the D rings for saddle stability allows for freedom of movement in the shoulder. 

  • Rubber lined Leather Attachable neck strap to conform to FEI neck strap rule. 
  • Loop to attach standing or running martingale. 
  • Fully adjustable and detachable leather T grips to help riders learn hand position stability and understand the horses seeking reflex to ride forward to the bridle. Great for dressage and jumping!

  • Consider warming your horse up before using the t-grips and make sure they are loose enough to keep from restricting your arms too much. 
  • We recommend using under the watchful eye of a qualified instructor for best results! 

How To Measure Your Breastplate: 

Using a measuring tape, measure from D-Ring to D-Ring around the horse's chest. Measurements can be a little loose as you do not want the breastplate too tight and the T-Grips should not be too low.  

Pony: 40"-49" or 102cm-124.5cm

Full- 49"-62" or 102cm-158cm

Extra full- 58"-66"or 147cm-168cm

Fitting Instructions:

1. The collar should fit softly around the base of the neck and attach to the D-Rings of the saddle. 

2.  Toggles can attach to one of two rings on the collar based on horse size.

3. To help the horse seek the contact, gently lift up against the horse's neck.

4. Most riders prefer to hold the toggle between their middle and ring finger with their reins held normally between the ring and little finger.

I really like the 3 in 1 for ny young horse. I get stability in my hands with out pulling on the reins when she spooks.
I have added a delta between the handles which I missed so now it is fine

Game changer

I bought the breastplate after many months of watching videos and advertisements for it. I waited and waited but should have bought it months before. I use it daily now it has been a game changer for me and my horse. I openly admit that I’m heavy in my hands and my horse leans and did before I got him, now with the help of the 3 in 1 breastplate we have become more together and are both still working hard but much much lighter, my instructor has even tried the breastplate on another client who is now going to purchase one.

Trainer impressed and superbe service.

“Well they really do sell stuff that works. I am impressed.” My trainer has always had an open mind and both of us had seen the ad on social media so when I asked her what she thought she told me to go ahead and try it out.
But that it would make such a difference was I think a positive surprise.
I only started riding two and a half years ago when I was 38. So I tend to stay in my head a lot.
Using the breastplate today for the first time my trainer commented that not only were my hands in such a better position but my whole frame was more balanced.

As for me, it took a bit of getting used to (my right hand managed better than my left) but what I realized was how much I was relying on my reins versus this time, using the breastplate I only used my fingers and the rest was leg and body work, as it should be.
Another, psychological element was that I would give too much slack in the reins because I don’t want to hurt the horse’s mouth, which would ultimately lead to confusion.
So now I don’t have to worry about that and I cannot wait to continue my journey with them.

As for the service I can give 10 stars. I bought several items shortly one after another within a couple of hours and through email it was possible to still bundle everything together and save on postage.
I am a huge fan.
I still have the double neck strap to try and have a girth that was meant for a horse I ultimately didn’t decide to buy so I will most likely donate it to my stable for a school horse. They deserve the ultimate comfort in my opinion 🤗

Conclusion: great quality, it works and amazing service.
